Line Remover LNX8

The LNX8 line remover is the ultimate tool for permanent line removal. The LNX8 can be fitted with a variety of cutting heads for light removal up to super heavy duty. The machine can be used in a variety of ways as well such as connecting to a bob cat, a driver attachment (see Graco Linedriver under linemarking machines) or just pushed.

How the SMITH LNX8 Works:

Quality made in the U.S.A., the SMITH LNX8 power eraser is compact and easily maneuverable. A dual belt drives the cutter head assembly outfitted with three (steel or carbide pin design) cutters. This assembly is held at a fixed angle to the road surface, permitting a simultaneous vertical and horizontal floating cutter action. It feathers the substrate edges with a rolling action while leaving the surface in a natural condition.

The SMITH LNX8 works extremely efficient by breaking the coating and scraping across it simultaneously, leaving a smoothed beveled edge. It eliminates the grooving pattern or "ghost line" normally associated with the flail cutter drum style machines that rely solely on scraping or striking.

The A1 Roadlines Traffic Line Remover is a fast and easy-to-use machine that permanently removes road lines in one simple operation. This self-propelling machine may be compact (weighing approximately 82kg), but it boasts a number of design and functional features.

Robust Construction
The machine’s frame is heavy section-welded steel plate and reinforced at stress points. The cutter head assembly head lid is 10-gauge steel plate, and all components are heat treated for longer life.

Rear Axle
The rear axle is factory-set for normal use on Australian roads. It can be set in several positions to suit road conditions. Two 200mm x 35mm rubber wheels are mounted on the rear axle.

Vee Belt Drive
The cutter assembly is driven by guarded twin vee belts.

Operation
Rubber grips on the wide, removable handle bar gives the operator good control. The handle bar features a throttle cut-out safety switch.

Safety
The machine’s operator is protected during use by a steel plate mounted at the rear of the cutter head assembly. A heavy duty rubber flap at the rear of the machine provides additional protection.
